A Hare in the Forest is a pop-up and online shop selling a carefully considered collection of children’s wear, sourced by founder Daisy Little.

 

Here at A Hare in the Forest we have taken it upon ourselves to scour the planet to find the most wonderful clothing and accessories for children. We only stock brands that stand out from the norm, that are stylish, hardwearing and are ethically manufactured.

 

We are based high up in the Yorkshire Pennines, and our surroundings never cease to inspire us.

Liberty Print patterns, traditional Breton Stripes, gentle textures and playful shapes conjure up images of wildflower meadows, woodland animals trotting and prancing through the landscape and birds that chirp and whistle in the morning sun.

 

We want our collection to reflect the landscape, translating the hare hopping through the grass onto a t-shirt, the mass of flowers scattered through the fields a far onto a handmade Liberty Print blanket or the gentleness of the rolling hills to the softest organic cotton jumper or cashmere coat.

Their best selling cashmere peacoat's are fantastically soft, stylish, hardwearing and surprisingly machine washable! This brand is a firm favourite amongst founder Daisy’s little girl Isabelle and her pals.

Modern Scandinavian cool with a French influence is what you get with Danish brand FUB. Their designs oppose passing vogues and therefore never outdate. The clothes are made from the cosiest wool in the colder winter months and from soft breathable organic cotton for spring/summer. Perfect for all ages, very popular for younger babies because the fabric is so gentle against the skin.

Liberty Print is  Coco & Wolf's speciality . We love their line of babygrows- simple with a burst of Liberty print through the collar. Their baby blankets are very popular and will last a whole childhood with some love and care! All Coco & Wolf pieces are handmade in Somerset by founder Amy and her team.
